Getting Ready Guide
If you’re looking at this guide it probably means you have a Boudoir Experience coming up! WOOHOO! I am so excited to give you an incredible day, full of pampering, self love, and, of course, some jaw-dropping photos. I’ve put together this getting ready guide to help you make the most of your experience. If you have any questions on these topics, or anything else related to your session, please text or email me!
Leading up to your session
finalize your experience details
You’ve probably already decided if you want to take part in a pre-payment plan. It’s the perfect option if you want to get a little extra out of your session. If you haven’t decided yet, check this out! Remember, you must be paid in full 14 days before your experience to redeem your bonuses! I’ll check in before your experience to see if you want any sets added. During your Ordering Session, you may have a hard time narrowing down your photos so I always suggest that you save a little money just in case you want to upgrade! Sometimes there are just too many dreamy photos to choose from!
choose your outfits
These should be as unique as you! If you feel sexy in an oversized sweater and high socks, bring them! If you love lace and leather, let’s do it! I recommend that clients bring 1-2 outfits that they know they feel comfortable in, then they have the opportunity to take a look through my Client Closet, as well! You can also bring accessories. If you’re planning this for a wedding or anniversary, consider bringing your veil, shoes or jewelry. There are no wrong answers here!
consider Maintenance + personal grooming
Don’t forget you also have to get your body ready for your experience! Consider potential tan lines and/or how tan you want to be. Due to the potential for skin tone issues, spray tans should be performed at least 5-7 days prior. For waxing, hair coloring and facials, we recommend 3-5 days prior. It’s a great idea to let your esthetician know what you’re prepping for so they can give you their best tips and tricks! And don’t forget your finger and toe nails! Whatever your style preference, make sure your nails are in your preferred state.
The week of your session
Practice Self care
When you feel your best, you also look your best! Your skin is likely the first thing you’ll notice when you see your photos for the first time. Help me give you that gorgeous glow by getting a good night’s rest and drinking plenty of water leading up to your session. It can also be a good idea to stretch before your session, since we’ll be moving and holding our bodies in a different way than we normally do.
Get excited!
So much of your experience is based on how you feel. You know we’ll keep the vibe light and fun while you’re in the studio but it’s best to start the day that way, too. Consider using my Boudie Pump-up Mix to put your head in the right space. Try to stick with any of your normal routines like journaling, meditation, or exercising.
head to the studio
The studio is located in the heart of downtown Canton. There is metered parking in front of the studio or The Onesto Garage directly across the street. Wear loose-fitting clothing the morning of your session or considering bringing a robe. Tight clothing and undergarments can leave leave unwanted lines on your body. Please arrive to the studio with a clean, moisturized face and clean, dry hair.
